Our COVID-19 Protocols (updated June 11, 2022)

The following are some changes that you may notice on your next visit:

OUR CLINIC AND STAFF

  • Staff will continue to wear masks and any other necessary personal protective equipment
  • Our staff will continue to be screened daily for COVID-19 symptoms

OUR PATIENTS

  • We recommend that patients over 2 years of age continue to wear a mask for their appointments
    • Although the provincial mask mandate has ended, due the inability to socially distance within the exam rooms we strongly recommend that patients continue to wear a mask when visiting the clinic
  • We are currently not accepting walk-ins, all patients must have a scheduled exam
  • We ask that only the patient present for their exam, no guests or other family members are permitted to accompany you to your exam
    • Exceptions will be made for 1 guest in the following cases:
      • Minor patient under 18 years old
      • Patient does not speak English and required a translator
      • Patient requires a caregiver
  • We ask that patients complete the required registration forms electronically and submit them prior to your exam
  • We may ask you to wait outside the store until we can ensure proper social distancing in the clinic
  • Verbal COVID screening prior to entering the clinic
  • We will ask you to wash your hands upon entering the clinic
  • Use contactless payment methods (credit, debit or e-transfer) when possible

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you do not attend your appointment or cancel with fewer than 24-hours notice, you will be charged a fee of $85 for the missed appointment which will be billed directly to you via our online payment system. This “No-Show” fee is NOT reimbursable by your insurance company.
